…it’s time for me to write my own words now!

I love piping hot tea and finding the right words

A die-hard tea-drinking Brit, I started life as a lawyer in London and Hong Kong, then transitioned my writing skills into the nonprofit world.

After years of crafting words for others, I’m ready to share what I really want to say.

Current writing

Look over on Medium for recent observations on life as I close in on my sell-by date, and reflect on the joys and challenges of having a puppy and a retired husband under my feet all day.

Novel in progress

Stand by for a story of an overlooked woman struggling to reclaim her identity under the guidance of a misunderstood dog.

Mouse Adventures

And if you have small people in your life who like exploring the hedgerows, check out the publishing adventures of me and my 89-year-old Mum

A Good Enough Dog?

When we lost our constant companion of 16 years we were heartbroken. We still miss him every day. Here are a few memories of his adventurous life.

Read, smile, maybe even shed a tear as you decide if he was a good enough dog.

Of course, I already know.

E book coming soon!

Want to hear about the joys and perils of puppy adoption in retirement?

I’d love to share my thoughts on the challenges of puppy wrangling once arthritis has invaded your knees!
